Do you remember the very first time you fell in love? That feeling that you just can't put into words? I have been painting all my life. I drift into and out of impressionism and post-impressionism. I do landscapes, seascapes and cityscapes. I use color to create emotion and feeling. My goal is always to leave the viewer with that feeling that you just can't put into words.
Passing through the low country, there are many places to stop and visit an old plantation. On one of rides, I stopped and took a photograph of yet another Carolina Treasure. When I got home, I did this watercolor in studio. The original sold from a show. Prints are still available.
