Do you remember the very first time you fell in love? That feeling that you just can't put into words? I have been painting all my life. I drift into and out of impressionism and post-impressionism. I do landscapes, seascapes and cityscapes. I use color to create emotion and feeling. My goal is always to leave the viewer with that feeling that you just can't put into words.
Sometimes I have images just float into my mind. The muse. I don't ignore the call. This image just danced in one day while I was in my studio. I worked on it day after day until I finally reproduced the image from my mind. Just an old Gate City, Virginia country kitchen. I hope you can smell the biscuits and red eye gravy.
